It’s fall and almost October so time to escape to the Hudson Valley where I’ll take you to castles, haunted cemeteries and battlefields. I’ll take you on the back roads where we’ll taste fresh apple cider and stay in the oldest inn in America. Here’s the first in a four part series on the Hudson Valley. I just spent a lovely day strolling around Carmel. Here are some pics!!
I’m sitting outside, I can’t hear the crackling of the fire in a large fireplace. I have my cup of joe and waiting for my breakfast. It’s a beautiful day even with the overcast. I’m about an hour from home and it feels like another world. On this trip I’m eating at the Village Corner California Bistro.
After this huge breakfast I will NEED to take a long walk along the beach…. 😉
I just left the Moss Beach harbor area and about 2 minutes south is a fabulous farmers market. Packed with local produce and very reasonable prices it’s worth the stop. You’ll find baby bananas…
Large and small local artichokes
Gilroy garlic and a while lot more! I’m starving so off to Carmel for breakfast and a walk along the beach.
Heading south on highway 1 today! It’s early, around 8:30am so the fog is still heavy. First stop is Moss Beach and it’s harbor. I can hear the fog horn and the seagulls! It’s a beautiful morning! Follow me and I’ll take you to a great coastal farmers market.
