Healthy Eggnog

One look at a glass of eggnog and you can feel your pants getting tighter. Some of it’s so thick, it’s almost impossible to suck it through a straw. You’re left holding your head back stuggling to get that last thick glop at the bottom of your glass. Well, stress no more! I ran across this healthy eggnog recipe and wanted to pass it along. In fact I’m sipping it as I type and I must say it’s devine. So here is how you make it:

What you need:

– 1 cup of almond milk (unsweetened)

– 8 ice cubes (+ for milkshake-thick)

– 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

– 1 banana

– 1 tsp cinnamon

– 1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)

– 1 tsp raw almond butter

Put everything in the blender and let-ur go until it’s smooth. If it’s the end of the day and you just want to kick back, add rum, light a candel and relax!

  1. I am so excited about this I can’t tell you!! If it wasn’t bedtime I’d go make some right now. I usually use frozen bananas in smoothies…I wonder how that will work in place of ice cubes 🙂

  2. Great info. Lucky me I discovered your blog by chance (stumbleupon).
    I’ve bookmarked it for later!
