The Beauty of Vermont in the Fall

Since I can remember I have loved Vermont. There is a peace and beauty there that literally makes my entire body relax and take a deep breath. I have been traveling around that beautiful state for the last few days and wanted to share some photos…the first two were amazing reflection images taken along a backroad by Sandgate VT. It was like a dream world!!! Next stop – Grafton VT
West Cornwall Covered Bridge

I love covered bridges! They remind me of the photos posted in my classrooms when I was growing up. As soon as fall arrived my teachers would put up photos taken back east. I lived in Albuquerque so these photos looked nothing like our countryside filled with cactus and tumble weeds. No, the roads were lined with jewel colored leaves and quaint covered bridges.

I’m touring around the New England area and one of my first stops was the West Cornwall covered bridge. It’s a fabulous one way bridge and if you’re in the area it is a must see!!! Next stop is Vermont!!!
Sleepy Hollow Ghosts (Part 2)
Steaming Scones and Stunning Views (Part 1)
It’s fall and almost October so time to escape to the Hudson Valley where I’ll take you to castles, haunted cemeteries and battlefields. I’ll take you on the back roads where we’ll taste fresh apple cider and stay in the oldest inn in America. Here’s the first in a four part series on the Hudson Valley. Grab a cup of coffee, sit back and read on!
